Every child deserves to experience the magic, warm meals, and joy of the holiday season. For five years running, UCC’s Shop With a Hero has paired more than 1,200 local youth from low-income households with first responders, healthcare workers, military personnel, and dedicated community leaders for a day of holiday shopping, mentorship, and celebration.
We are gearing up to make our 6th Annual Shop With a Hero this December our most impactful year yet! Details regarding the exact date, time, and location for the 2026 event will be finalized and announced shortly. In the meantime, we need your help to make this holiday season unforgettable for Newark families.
