Launched in January 2024, Hope Village II is a cornerstone of Newark’s strategy to end chronic homelessness. Managed by UCC, this 20-bed transitional housing facility is designed for individuals facing complex barriers to housing.

Hope Village II last year provided safe, stable housing for more than 20 individuals who previously had no fixed address, offering them a vital “breathing room” to focus on their future, also accomplishing a nearly 40% success rate in moving our clients into permanent housing.
