COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Department of Community Engagements mission is to actively interact and engage with members of the community to make both potential and current clients and volunteers aware of all of the services that United Community Corporation offers. We also promote and support United Community Corporation’s overall goal of moving people from dependency to self-sufficiency.

Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.
