I think in the middle of 2019, as Property Manager of our agency. But it wasn't until she started working for our Energy Assistance department that I got to know the quality of person she was:
A very grateful person for the opportunities that God and the people around her had given her. Her attitude, always proactive, responsible, and committed to the good performance of the department, made her quickly climb to the position of Program Supervisor of our department. More than a co-worker, she was a friend and like an older sister, earning the respect and admiration of all of us.

Very rarely did I have to deal with an angry client to whom she referred me as she usually always listened to the clients and kept any situation under control. She became one of the representatives with the most LIHEAP/USF and PAGE applications ever processed.

I could say so many more things about this great woman and human being: about her good sense of humor, her attitude towards the latest challenges she had to face and how she was able to overcome them, her great love for her 2 children Rita and Michael, her grandchildren, who she did not do for them; and his two cats Cain and Able, of whom he always told great stories that made me laugh a lot. She left everyone a great example to follow.

She ended her journey here on earth very happy and satisfied. I know because on that last day we were in a restaurant and we have the honor of celebrating her successes and a new position in the agency, and she expressed to all of us how happy and grateful she felt at those moments. We always remember her joy and sweet smile.

Her unexpected and sudden departure has left us all with great sadness, but we are sure that she is with her Heavenly Father and she will always live and occupy a very special place in our hearts.

Dorice forever loves forever!!
