UCC Housing Assistance
The Rapid Rehousing Program will aid eligible homeless or newly evicted clients with a security deposit and three-to-six months of rent.
Clients can apply over the phone by calling 973-642-0181 or by emailing Housing@uccnewark.org.
Criteria for eligibility includes:
- Income (see chart below)
- How many people live in the home
- What their hardship is
- If they are homeless or in immediate risk of becoming homeless
- If COVID-19 has directly affected their lives
- If they are NJ residents
- If they are under legal immigration status in the United States.
